Goldmound Spirea The Spirea 'Goldmound', Spiraea x 'Goldmound', this colorful plant provides an exceptional accent or contrast in your foundation planting or shrub border. Brilliant foliage holds its light chartreuse-green color all season long. Flushes of pink flowers appear in June and July. Dense bushy 18 to 24 inch plants maintain their nicely rounded, neat appearance with little or no pruning. Produces best color in full sun. Distinguished by their size, bloom color and season of bloom, spireas all have small leaves and fine, twiggy branches. Once established, they are drought tolerant.
